Razan Al Mubarak is the Secretary General of the Environment Agency-Abu Dhabi (EAD), the agency responsible for environmental regulation, conservation and the promotion of sustainable development in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. She serve as a board member of many of Abu Dhabi’s interconnected environmental influencers and stakeholders. She also chairs the Eye On Earth community which is a global movement that focuses on enabling the environmental (and related social and economic interactions) of Sustainable Development by improving the creation, availability, discover-ability, use and usability of data, information and knowledge for all stakeholders in society. She founded Emirates Wildlife Society in association with WWF (EWS WWF) in 2001 and is currently the Managing Director. She is also the Managing Director of the Mohamed Bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund – one of the world’s largest foundations supporting species conservation in over 200 countries. She is serves on the board of directors for Panthera - a charity devoted to conserving 40 species of big cats and their habitats around the world. As a keen supporter of the arts, cultural preservation and development; she is a founding member of the Board of Advisors to the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation. She is married with an infant daughter, and takes every opportunity to enjoy the natural heritage of the world with her family.
