Founder and CEO of Koru Kids (www.korukids.co.uk), which aims to vastly improve childcare services, starting by helping parents share their nannies in London. Taking inspiration from Airbnb, Koru Kids helps parents realise the hidden value in their nanny and home by sharing extra capacity with a neighbouring family. The nanny looks after both families' children at the same time. This means that each family pays less, the nanny earns more, and the children have a friend to play with. Only a few months after launch, our network already has over 500 families. As we grow we will provide more ancillary services such as payroll, billing, sick and holiday cover, with an aspiration to also become a distribution platform for early years EdTech. Prior to founding Koru Kids, l was Managing Director of a chain of IVF clinics, before that the CEO of the world's largest online doctor service, and before that was at McKinsey. I have a Doctorate from the University of Oxford where I was a Rhodes Scholar. I also have a 2 year old who I will miss immensely during any WEF event.
