Has held a variety of senior positions as an executive on Wall Street, as an entrepreneur and as a leader and innovator in the higher-education sector. In all these roles, has taken initiatives from inception of the vision to execution, with particular expertise in the China market. Currently focussing on innovation and entrepreneurship within China: the state of play, the role of education, the obstacles and the strengths of the Chinese innovation ecosystem. Speaks frequently on innovation, leadership, the role of culture, as well as the relationship between leadership and innovation.
