Priya Balasubramaniam is vice president of Product Operations at Apple Inc. Priya oversees supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and repair operations for all Apple Products & core technology components. She joined Apple in 2001. She worked from 2001 to 2012 in a number of operations and procurement roles. In 2013, she began leading the iPhone Operations team and she is in her current role since 2021. Prior to Apple she worked at Asea Brown Boveri [ABB] in India for 3 years as a design engineer.

Priya holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University and an MBA in Supply Chain and Marketing from Michigan State University. She also has a diploma in Software Technology & Systems Management. Priya was named as one of most powerful female engineers by Business Insider in 2017 and 2018. She received an honorary doctorate of engineering from Michigan State University in 2017.
