Nicolaas Kruger started his career at Momentum in 1991 and he qualified as an actuary in 1992 at the age of 24. He is a board member of the Association for Savings and Investment South Africa. He was appointed CEO of Momentum in 2009. He became CEO of the listed insurer MMI Holdings in 2010, which was created through the merger between Metropolitan and Momentum. He is a part-time farmer with scarce game. He also enjoys music, travelling, movies and wine.
