Neil Blumenthal is Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Warby Parker, an innovative lifestyle brand that sells designer glasses for US$ 95. For every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need. Previously, he led VisionSpring, a non-profit social enterprise that trains low-income women to start their own business selling affordable glasses to rural communities in South Asia, Africa and Latin America. Prior to joining VisionSpring, he worked with the International Crisis Group and attended the Institute for International Mediation and Conflict Resolution in The Hague, Netherlands. Earlier this year, Blumenthal was recognized as one of the 100 most creative people in business by Fast Company and as one of Ernst and Young's Entrepreneurs of the Year. In 2005, he was named a Fellow for Emerging Leaders in Public Service at NYU's Robert F. Wagner School for Public Service. Blumenthal received a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
