Mildred Z. Solomon, EdD is President of The Hastings Center and professor of medical ethics at Harvard Medical School. She is a researcher, health policy leader, and public speaker, who examines social and ethical implications of health care delivery and emerging technologies. She consults to many organizations, including the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering & Medicine and The Aspen Institute, and is frequently cited in major media outlets. Solomon earned her doctorate from Harvard University and B.A. from Smith College.
