Megan Wahlquist, PMP, is a Program Officer on the Global Policy & Advocacy (GPA) Office of the President team. In this role, Megan is responsible for managing across division teams to evaluate requests of the President to ensure her external time is best used in service of the division’s advocacy goals, and project manages the President’s external trips from concept to execution. Megan joined the foundation in February of 2013 on the GPA Strategy, Planning & Management team and transitioned to the GPA Office of the President team in early 2014. Prior to joining the foundation, she worked as a Logistics Manager at a professional development company that delivered high quality seminars to education professionals across the US and Canada. Her role included managing a team of program managers, negotiating contracts, and execution of events with a high level of detail. Megan is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has her BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.
