Mathias Miedreich joined Umicore and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in October 2021. Prior to Umicore, he accumulated more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry in various senior leadership roles in Europe and Asia. He served as Executive Vice-President of the Clean Mobility division of Faurecia, which he joined in 2013 as their Vice President Strategy & New Technologies for the Clean Mobility business, and after having worked at Siemens and Continental. He started his career in Strategy Consulting at KPMG. Mathias holds a Master’s degree in International Business Management from the Erlangen-Nuremberg Friedrich-Alexander University.
