Luisa Ribeiro is the Co-CEO of Bioverse, a company harnessing satellite, drone, and AI technologies to identify high-value non-timber forest products (NTFPs) in the Amazon and scale the nature-positive bioeconomy.
She is also a co-founder of Regenativ, which develops regenerative ventures in partnership with Indigenous communities, using innovative and inclusive financing mechanisms to preserve and enhance natural capital.
From 2018 to 2020, Luisa served as CEO of Recode / CDI Global, a social enterprise dedicated to the digital empowerment of underprivileged youth. Earlier in her career, she founded and led two of Brazil’s most prominent startup accelerators—Papaya Ventures and Gema Ventures—and has advised major corporations on innovation strategies and the design of corporate accelerator programs.
Luisa holds a degree in Engineering and an MBA from INSEAD, and currently lives in Rio de Janeiro.
