Graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences, Business Administration Department and received Master’s degree from University of Illinois. Started professional life with the Ministry of Finance in 1988. 1997-1998, taught as part-time instructor at Bilkent University. Joined Koç Group in 1998 as Koç Holding Financial Group Coordinator. General Manager of Koçtas between 2002-2007 and Chief Executive Officer of Migros between 2007-2008. Chief Executive Officer of Arçelik since 2008 and President of the Durable Goods Group of Koç Holding since April 2010. Appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Koç Holding on 17 February 2015 and Chief Executive Officer of Koç Holding following the General Assembly on 31 March 2015.
