Judith Wallenstein

Judith Wallenstein is a Senior Partner & Managing Director in BCG's Munich office. She is the Global Head of BCG's CEO Advisory.BCG’s CEO Advisory program supports leaders at pivotal inflection points—succession processes, new appointments, major transformations—through three core offerings: structured, one-on-one programs to help CEOs plan and lead a successful tenure; curated peer-learning communities that offer cross-industry perspectives; and applied research into what drives CEO success.Judith herself has supported over 60 Advisory programs working with CEOs and Supervisory Board Members to set up successful candidacies and tenures.She also focuses on Corporate Governance issues & trends from a CEO's perspective and has been a member of two Corporate Governance Task Forces within BCG.Judith is one of BCG's core biopharma Partners and has done extensive work in vaccines, oncology, and rare disease. Her functional focus is on Clinical Development and Corporate Strategy and portfolio work (carve-outs and divestitures, asset deals, and integration).Judith also served as the global co-lead of BCG's Climate Moonshot and led our Social Impact and Sustainability Practice in Europe, driving the rapid expansion of BCG's Climate business across Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East.Judith has been with BCG for 25 years, spending several years in Madrid and New York, and has been based out of BCG's Berlin & Paris offices for over a decade.In 2015, Judith was appointed a BCG Fellow and led research on the Sharing Economy and the Future of work in collaboration with Harvard Business School's Future of Work project and the IMF.Judith holds a master's degree in history, French, and German literature/linguistics from Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich and graduated top of her class nationwide. She received awards as one of Top 100 Women in Business in Germany in 2016 and 2021.
