Jiawei Ye

Jiawei (Kevin) is the VP of Community and Portfolio Engagement at the Public Investment Fund (PIF), where he drives value creation across the Fund's diverse portfolio. He spearheads strategic engagement with portfolio companies, fosters collaborations and unlocks synergies to deliver sustainable long-term growth. Previously, he was Platform Funding Lead and Grant Governance at the World Economic Forum, where he built high-impact public-private partnerships between governments, corporations and philanthropic organizations. From 2019 to 2021, he served as Lead of the Family Business Community at the Forum, managing a trusted community of leading family businesses and co-shaping the global family business agenda. Partnering with inspiring business leaders, he catalyzed transformations and galvanized private capital around the world toward long-term value creation. Jiawei is a Senior Research Fellow at the Global Family Business Research Center at Tsinghua University's National Institute for Financial Research, where he was Executive Director from 2017-2019. He is Visiting Senior Researcher at INSEAD's Wendel International Centre for Family Enterprise. He has also served as an Advisor at Cambridge Family Enterprise Group (CFEG), and is a recognized author and speaker at global business forums, business schools, public institutions and financial institutions. He holds an M.S. in Economics and B.S. in Economics and Finance from PSL University-Université Paris Dauphine, and is Hogan Leadership Assessment licensed.
