Hernan Kazah is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Kaszek Ventures. He currently sits on the board of several technology companies such as Zup, DrConsulta, BelezaNaWeb, Technisys, MadeiraMadeira, PetLove, GetNinjas, GuichêVirtual, Loggi and DigitalHouse.
Before founding Kaszek Ventures in 2011, Hernan cofounded MercadoLibre in 1999, where he was COO for 9 years and CFO for 3 years.
Prior to this, he worked as Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble Co., and was a finance analyst at the United Nations Development Program.
Hernan received an MBA from Stanford University and graduated magna cum laude in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires.
Additionally, he is currently a Board Member at LAVCA (Latin America Venture Capital Association) and a Board Member at ARCAP (Argentina Venture Capital Association). Hernan was selected Endeavor Entrepreneur in 1999, chosen Established Endeavor Entrepreneur in 2009, and awarded “The Outstanding Young Persons of Argentina” recognition by the Junior Chamber International in 2004.
