Gabriel Cecchini

Director, ESG Integridad

Gabriel Cecchini is a consultant in the field of corporate governance, integrity and ESG based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, advising private and public local and regional organizations in the design, implementation and evaluation of their governance and integrity strategies, programs, and tools.

Gabriel Cecchini is Founder and Director, ESG Integridad, and ESG Advisor, Latin America, RepRisk AG. Previously, Cecchini has been Director, Integrity & Reputation, at Governance Latam, and between 2009 and 2016, Coordinator of the Center for Governance and Transparency at IAE Business School in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There he coordinated research and support to companies in Corporate Governance, Business Ethics and Anti-Corruption and was instrumental in setting up the First Argentine Best Practices and Compliance Network. He implemented the first four editions of the U.S.-based Ethics & Compliance Initiative’s LPEC Certification Program in Latin America.

He is member of the United Nations-led Principles for Responsible Management Education initiative’s Working Group on Anti-Corruption where he helped developed the “Anti-Corruption Toolkit” online platform designed to provide comprehensive guidelines for curriculum change in business schools around the world. He is also member of the Open Government Partnership (OGP)’s Private Sector Council and has participated as presenter in the OGP/World Bank Webinar Series. He has been named "Social Connector" of the UN Foundation-led +SocialGood initiative.

Cecchini frequently speaks at professional conferences in Argentina and abroad, and contributes to national and international media outlets, including a regular column on transparency and reputation trends at CNN En Español. He is co-author of the recent publication “A Practical Guide for Collective Action against Corruption” (2015) written for the United Nations Global Compact.

Cecchini has a B.A. in Communication from the National University of Córdoba in Argentina and an M.A. in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, U.S.A.
