Having read Russian Studies at University College London, I spent 3 years working in Moscow where I started out my career at Clifford Chance in Regional Operations. This was an opportunity to gain valuable insight into some interesting and rapidly emerging jurisdictions.

I have spent the last 9 years as part of the General Counsel team based in London initially with a focus on Compliance and more recently having taken over the Risk function.

In my role as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, I am responsible for ensuring Clifford Chance has appropriate policies, processes and procedures in place globally to comply with the increasingly complex regulatory environment that we find ourselves operating in. I am also responsible for designing and implementing the Firm's Enterprise Risk management Framework.

My interests (apart from Risk & Compliance!) include Russian literature, Art (classic and contemporary), sailing and...gardening.
