As Clifford Chance’s Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CR and CO), Bahare is responsible for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), regulatory compliance and operational resilience globally.
In her time as CR and CO she has designed and implemented integrated firm-wide ERM, Compliance and Operational Resilience Frameworks which are considered to be market-leading.
Her responsibilities include advising the Board on the approach to managing the Firm’s Global Strategic Risks; responsibility for the Firm’s compliance-relevant risks; overseeing information governance and data privacy; and leading the Firm’s Global crisis management team.
Bahare has has over 13 years of experience in risk and compliance and has completed numerous qualifications in both spheres. Apart from London, she has worked in Moscow (including a regional role which spanned Central and Eastern Europe) where she gained an invaluable international perspective and outlook.
