Astrid Balsink is a Member of the Executive Committee and a seasoned corporate `architect`, responsible for growing inclusion, wellbeing and engagement across the Forum. In our joint ambition to drive a people focus and more inclusive workplace, Astrid and her team are working closely with leadership, the employee networks, the People and Culture team as well as the organization at large, ensuring all we do, is connected and adds up.
Astrid is a key contributor to the current evolvement of the Forum, building on its strong roots and a new strategy, whilst anticipating on the human need to belong in a world in turmoil. Maintaining a strong identity, the team is also in charge of internal communications including the growth and governance of our internal platforms, networks and tools to inform and involve all.
Prior to joining the Forum, Astrid held different leadership- and advisory roles driving the global communications-, inclusion- and engagement agenda in companies like Microsoft, Nike, Philips, DSM and lately Danske Bank. Astrid brings a proven track record in making strategies come to life by challenging the status quo with a focus on learning to create an open dialogue that not only drives but also anchors change. She is a Dutch citizen who has lived and worked in 4 countries.
