Bachelor’s in Policy Studies. Experience in various management roles in both non-profits and corporates in Japan, Mongolia and the Philippines. In 2014, moved to Kamikatsu, the first municipality declaring the zero waste ambition in Japan and joined the Zero Waste Academy. Currently serve as the Chair of the Board of the Directors, Zero Waste Academy, Japan and Co-founder of Zero Waste Japan. Delivers planning and implementation of zero waste policy services to local governments and businesses, organizes the Zero Waste Accreditation system for businesses to brand efforts to achieve the zero waste goal, and delivers more than 100 sessions/lectures annually to advocate for zero waste practices.
