Rakia Mission

Driven by the vision of “space for all", Rakia, a public benefit company, is dedicated to advancing and developing the space sector in Israel through local and international partnerships, with a focus on human spaceflight.

Born from the April 2022 voyage of Israeli astronaut Eytan Stibbe to the International Space Station as an Ax-1 mission crew member, the Rakia mission demonstrated the vast potential of activity and research in space. Rakia is driven by a conviction that this field can be made accessible to a wide range of populations, inspiring people, encouraging curiosity and innovation, and promoting peace, social responsibility and planetary sustainability.
