University of Twente

Based in the City of Enschede, the Netherlands, the University of Twente is a young, entrepreneurial university working with future technologies, including information technology, biotechnology and nanotechnology, and active in areas such as health, water, sustainability, security and education. It has 3,300 scientists and staff carrying out research and teaching about 10,000 students. The campus is home to around 100 businesses, including student-run businesses, and the university has generated more than 700 successful spin-off companies.
