Suncor Energy is a Fortune 500 company, one of the largest Canadian integrated oil and gas producers and among five largest in North America, with annual revenues of $25 billion. Suncor produces oil and gas through oil sands, which in general have a bad sustainability reputation. However, Suncor is a leader in terms of sustainability; it is listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, the UN Global Compact 100, and the Global 100 most sustainability focused companies. It is the first oil and gas company in North America to support the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
