Sero Lease and Finance (Selfina)

SELFINA (SERO Lease and Finance) is engaged in the economic empowerment of women through lease finance. Through leasing, SELFINA brings financial relief to small businesses because leased assets help avoid tying up working capital to fixed assets. SELFINA has provided 27,500 leases to women, impacted more than 250,000 people, and created 150,000 jobs. SELFINA believes that increasing women's access to finance will enhance productive capacity, increase incomes and employment among poorer women in Tanzania in a sustainable manner. SELFINA's work has been recognized locally and internationally including by the World Bank, International Alliance for Women and Vital Voices Global Partnership.
