RainStick Shower aims to reduce people’s water needs to 50 litres or 13 gallons of water per person per day without compromising their experience. The company has developed a circular shower system that requires 80% less water and energy per shower while doubling the flow rate. Its technology captures, circulates and purifies the water in real-time during a shower through a cleaning process including a micron-level screen, continuous addition of fresh hot water and high-intensity UV-LED to disinfect the water. After each shower, the water goes down a drain and undergoes an automated self-cleaning, ensuring that the reused water is always hygienic.
