OroraTech's global wildfire intelligence service provides risk assessment, early detection, real-time monitoring and damage analysis. Headquartered in Munich, Germany, OroraTech leverages 20 external and proprietary satellite sources to monitor 160 million hectares of forest. Founded in 2018, its international team of 65 employees serves commercial forestry, governmental and non-governmental organizations worldwide. Its partners include the European Space Agency, the US Forest Service, Earthranger and Rosenbauer. SpacOroraTech was part of the Google Accelerator Programme and received McKinsey & Handelsblatt “The Spark” Innovation Award in 2021. In 2022, OroraTech launched its first satellite, providing infra-red data from space.
