Great Eastern Energy Corporation is a pioneer in the field of coal bed methane (CBM) gas production in India. In December 2005, it became the first Indian company to be listed on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market and in 2010 moved to the main board. It is a fully integrated CBM gas supplier and is connected to its customers by its own dedicated pipeline network. It has drilled 156 wells and another 144 wells are planned.
