Frontiers Planet Prize

The Frontiers Planet Prize is a global science competition recognizing and rewarding scientists whose research accelerates solutions for humanity to thrive within the nine planetary boundaries that define the limits of critical Earth systems that regulate life-support processes and ensure the stability and resilience of the planet. The prize aims to collapse the global scientific consensus into an annual cycle and address the urgent challenges of safeguarding a healthy planet in the Anthropocene. Each year, the prize honours a National Champion from each participating country and selects three International Champions, awarding each $1 million to scale and accelerate their actionable research solutions.
