Since its founding in 1952, the BNDES has played a fundamental role in stimulating the expansion of industry and infrastructure in the country. The bank offers financial support mechanisms to Brazilian companies and public administration entities. In any supported undertaking, BNDES emphasizes three strategic factors: innovation, local development and socio-environmental development.
