Bangkok Bank

Bangkok Bank, which celebrated its 80th anniversary on 1 December 2024, was among the first Thai banks to establish an international network – opening its first overseas branch in Hong Kong in 1954. It has a long-standing presence across South-East Asia, China and Japan, as well as in major international financial centres. Its international network spans 14 economies and comprises one of the largest overseas networks of any Thai bank. Its international subsidiaries include Permata Bank, one of the 10 largest banks in Indonesia, Bangkok Bank Berhad in Malaysia, and Bangkok Bank (China).
