African Monitor

African Monitor is a grassroots monitoring organization. It focuses on a few thematic areas at a time, currently smallholder agriculture, food security and social development. Its strategic role is to provide grassroots level data to mirror performance and facilitate change, enable communities to participate in development and systems change processes, facilitate change and solution-creating processes with all role-players, facilitate the measurement of grassroots focus by governments and donors and to leverage networks to empower communities.
