目前有来自五大洲的600多家公司被评选为技术先锋，虽然这其中部分公司已成为行业领先企业，大部分技术先锋公司仍出于独立发展阶段。
所有于2017年2月3日23:59（CET）之前提交2017年度技术先锋申请的公司将予以考虑。最终结果最晚将在2017年7月中旬之前公布。
