Sonita Lontoh

Board Member, Sunrun, TrueBlue

Sonita Lontoh is an Asian American businesswoman. She is a board member at Sunrun (Nasdaq: RUN) and TrueBlue (NYSE: TBI), and a former technology executive at HP (NYSE: HPQ), Siemens (DAX: SIEGY) and PG&E (NYSE: PCG). She is an accomplished leader with unique insight and foresight in digital transformation, sustainability, cybersecurity, and the fourth industrial revolution. For almost three decades, she has led and advised on innovative programs that have delivered positive impact to governments, businesses, consumers, and society. Earlier in her career, Lontoh was a technology entrepreneur in Silicon Valley. Currently, Lontoh serves on the advisory board of the Jacobs Institute of Design Innovation at the University of California Berkeley and as an advisor to Sway Ventures. She is a purpose-driven leader passionate about technology for humanity. Lontoh has been recognized by the White House, the U.S. State Department and inducted into the Asian Hall of Fame and the Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame. Lontoh is National Association of Corporate Director (NACD)-director certified, Digital Directors Network cybersecurity-certified, and has completed the Stanford Directors College and the NACD Climate certifications. Lontoh earned a Master in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, and a Bachelor in Engineering from the University of California Berkeley.
