Paul Marriott is the President of SAP Asia Pacific Japan (APJ), leading the regional business with 21,000 employees to deliver the success of over 46,000 customers and 3,000 partners. He is a technology veteran and established business leader with more than 25 years of experience in Asian economies. Continuing the region’s role as a global growth engine for the company, Paul is known for his authentic and inclusive leadership that led to the significant success of the region. Paul is deeply passionate in advocating climate action, building an inclusive workforce and bringing Asia to the forefront of global innovation.

Joining SAP in 2008, Paul has served in several senior executive roles to establish and lead the region’s Digital Core business including Supply Chain, Platform and Analytics. He quickly became recognised as a leader who could span and transform the company’s future business areas. Most recently, Paul was the region’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) where he was instrumental in developing the workforce of tomorrow, accelerating cloud growth and customer success. Paul engages with many customers and partners across the region to adopt business-centric innovation and unlock new areas of growth to drive their customer success.

Prior to joining SAP, Paul led other large enterprise software businesses across Asia Pacific and Europe. Paul holds a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Essex. Originally from the United Kingdom, he currently resides in Singapore. Outside of work, Paul has a keen interest in youth rugby and coaches at the Tanglin Rugby Club Singapore.
