Marc Hamy

Vice-President, Air Transport and Environmental Affairs, Airbus Group

Marc Hamy is currently VP Corporate Affairs of Airbus since April 2019.
Previously, Marc Hamy was appointed Chief of Staff of the President of Airbus Commercial Aircraft and COO of Airbus Group.
He has a strong background in aviation and has served in multiple senior management positions including Deputy CFO then CEO of French air navigation services DSNA, Director of the civil aviation authority in the French Pacific territories as well as General Manager of two Air Traffic Control centers in the south of France.
Marc Hamy has also served as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Minister for Energy, Transports and Environment as well as Chief of Staff of the French Minister for Transports.
Hamy is a founding member of the SESAR Joint Undertaking as well as for the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS) and contributed to create Airbus ProSky in 2010, which are three companies developing new technologies and services in aviation and space.
Marc Hamy has graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) de la rue d’Ulm and a civil aviation engineer, with a post-graduate diploma from the French national school for civil aviation (ENAC) and a Master degree from the University of Paris Dauphine.
He received one of France’s top civilian awards by being named an Officer of the Légion d'Honneur, the National Order of Merit and the Medal of aeronautics.
Marc is 58, he is married with three children.
