Mrs. Mami Mizutori has been Head for Disaster Risk Reduction at United Nations since January 31, 2018. Mrs. Mizutori served as Director of the Japan Information and Culture Center at the Embassy of Japan in London and Director for Financial Affairs for the Foreign Ministry of Japan in Tokyo at Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mrs. Mizutori has been Non-Executive Director at Fidelity Japanese Values PLC since November 17, 2014. Mrs. Mizutori has been Executive Director of the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Culture and acts as a special advisor in Japanese studies to the University of East Anglia since 2011. Over the past 27 years with the Japanese Foreign Ministry, she has served in various roles and in offices throughout the world in London, Washington and Mexico City. Her past positions include serving as budget director, director of the Japan Information and Culture Center in London and director of the Status of U.S. Forces Agreement Division.
