Germana is a freelance writer, researcher and consultant with extensive expertise in sustainable development. She started her career as a financial and energy reporter, including for Dow Jones Newswires where she also published on The Wall Street Journal Europe. She then spent three years working on energy issues for the WWF European Policy Office. As head of energy policy at Friends of the Earth in London, she later managed a comprehensive research project with major universities to support the establishment of the UK Climate Change Act. She has also worked for Bond, the membership body of UK aid agencies, where she commissioned research on the future of development funding for Middle Income Countries.
