President of AGRA leads one of the largest pools of agricultural scientists and specialists in Africa. AGRA’s goal is to improve food security and incomes of 30 million farming households in 11 countries by 2021. Prior to joining AGRA, was Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources of Rwanda and widely considered to be one of the most successful agriculture ministers in sub-Saharan Africa. Also served as Permanent Secretary at the Rwandan Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources and as President of AGRA.
